Summary

Tate’s vision is to serve as artistically adventurous and culturally inclusive art museum for the UK and the world. Since Tate Modern opened in 2000, its programme of major temporary exhibitions, collection displays, commissions, live performance, and film programme has developed in diversity, ambition and profile.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, organisation and management of a wide range of selected exhibitions, Collection displays, film and performance programmes, commissions and events at Tate Modern, as well as supporting the development of Tate’s research strategy and collection of international art.

With proven relevant experience, you will have a broad understanding of international art from 1900 to the present day. You will have demonstrable experience of working in a museum or gallery and organising exhibitions, alongside excellent research and writing skills and meticulous attention to detail. Whether working on an exhibition, collection display or an acquisition, with your outstanding organisational and administrative skills, you will be able to work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external colleagues and use your own initiative to ensure tasks and projects are completed to the highest standard.
