Summary
Since August 2020, we’ve got over 45,000 people growing veg and herbs from home, plus have been named The Sunday Times Best Gardening Subscription.
We started our business from the kitchen table, doing everything ourselves and receiving no external investment. We’ve focused on being profitable from day one and have grown to monthly recurring revenue of £150k, with big increases in 2023, tripling our number of subscribers in under 4 months.
We’re now looking for a Growth Marketing Executive with relevant experience to run the day-to-day cycle of marketing testing which will enable us to grow further, all whilst remaining profitable and cash flow positive.
You'll be…
- Focused on planning, managing and analysing a constant cycle of tests across advertising platforms, our website and with external content providers. These tests will enable us to find the improvements we need to grow further, getting more people growing-their-own, whilst maintaining our target CAC.
- Working alongside our Head of Marketing to manage paid ad budgets, ensuring campaigns are maximising the number of new subscriptions, whilst not going beyond our monthly CAC target.
- Monitoring and optimising paid ad campaigns to ensure they are delivering optimal results, including CPC, CTR, CPA, and other key metrics.
- Working with our Head of Content to develop messaging and executional hypotheses to test in our advertising, plus managing any external sources of content, such as the gang or influencers.
- Planning and managing our weekly cycle of paid ad tests across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat, before reporting on their effectiveness and deciding how to use them once the test completes.
- Planning and managing an ongoing cycle of tests on our website, striving to improve conversion rate, before reporting on their effectiveness and whether to implement them permanently.
- Providing regular reports and insights to our internal team, including performance updates and recommendations for future tests.
You'll have…
- Digital marketing experience, ideally from a FMCG brand.
- Experience running with A/B tests and optimisation strategies across paid advertising and websites.
- Experience managing campaigns, budgets and audience on digital advertising platforms, primarily Meta, TikTok and Snapchat.
- Experience using platforms such as Google Analytics, Hotjar etc. to understand behaviour and build hypotheses.
- Experience working on Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform.
💸 Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
🏡 Logistics: Brixton, London. 4 days per week in the office.
