With the rapid growth, REAL is experiencing we are now looking for strong marketing leadership to help drive the business's growth ambitions in 2023 and beyond.

We’re looking for someone:

● Who is ambitious and comfortable working in a start-up environment with pace, agility and flexibility alongside the company founders.

● Has experience from big corporate, who has more recently moved to SME or high-growth startup. This is an opportunity to bring all of their experience & learning to building an exciting brand from the bottom up in a fast growing category

● Has the ability to lead from the front to help steer the business, our people and influence at an industry level

● Who has the desire to challenge the status quo and bring about positive change in the industry

Specific role details:

● Master of the brand tone of voice and visual identity - help develop our brand and visual identity with our internal team and manage creative partners - design, photography, videography and artists, whilst maintaining exceptional execution standards across all channels.

● Drive and build consumer awareness - with a focus on digital, retail and on-trade so that more people are drinking REAL in place of wine or alcohol at home and in the trade.

● Drive velocity of consumer conversion across all channels - devise a clear and simple plan to drive rate of trial and purchase through trade marketing and point of sale. A focus on concise messaging as well as visual appeal and aesthetics.

● Build our consumer and customer loyalty - create and execute a clear plan to drive loyalty of both consumer and customer to increase repeat purchase, AOV and to amplify advocacy

● Build the annual brand and marketing plan -in collaboration with the commercial team to include trade marketing - and distill it down into clear objectives and directions for all functions of the business (Operations, Brewery, Customer Service, Social media etc)

● Build a brand advocacy programme - how do we amplify the number of people talking about REAL and recommending our products

● Run and lead ecommerce and digital channel - to drive revenue, customer acquisition, customer retention.

● Responsible for supporting new product development with commercial, operations and R&D to create compelling industry leading launch campaigns that create noise, visibility and drive sales

● Responsible for managing marketing agencies and freelancers across brand agency, social media, PR, graphic design, photography.

● Be digitally native to drive digital presence and engaging content (including video) across social channel

● Managing total brand and marketing budgets. Tracking and reporting on key brand KPIs

● Responsible for building and developing the marketing team, partners, network and culture

Must Haves:

● Drink or Food Industry Experience (FMCG)

● Ability to bring marketing best practice to the business - having worked in a mid to large

company for 5-8 years and since moved to SMEs or start ups in more recent years

● Strong leadership skills to be able to sit on our company leadership team

● Has managed fast growth teams

● Strategic thinker while also being able to deliver at pace

● Has worked in start-ups/scale-ups/SMEs before (1 minimum)

💸 Salary: £65k++
