Summary
Do you love working with influencers & communities? Are you social media obsessed with your finger on the pulse of not just the newest channels, but the right channels that speak to the right customer? Then this role is for you!
We’re looking for a creative, commercially savvy mind to develop and execute our influencer and organic social strategies and campaigns. The ideal candidate is a team player who displays a positive attitude, who innately knows the influencer world and knows exactly who to get involved to make the magic happen. You will work alongside in-house creatives and marketing team to deliver against the marketing and business strategies, bringing fresh ideas, creating content and providing insight into the latest trends.
You can predominantly work from home, with weekly visits to our Head Office in Hertfordshire, as well as our London co-working space. This role will involve travelling to location shoots and events. Some weekend and out of hours work will be required.
Some of our goals next year include:
- Grow our online community to over 300k (total all platforms)
- Launch our 1st influencer collaboration collection and secure another partnership for 2024
- Supercharge our Tiktok channel, including follower growth, engagement and revenue
- Explore and lead a project to launch an ES ambassador club
Organic social
- Drive the strategy for our social presence, influencing the channels we prioritise and our approach on each
- Champion and share deep understanding of the evolving social landscape within the business
- Oversee and support when needed the admin across all our brand social channels, including planning content calendars, scheduling and responding to customers, driving follower growth, reach and engagement
- Be an extension of our brand voice on social media, ensuring we are engaging with our audience live and escalate any customer queries to our CS team when needed
- Lead the execution of strategic social partnerships that drive social growth, engagement, and awareness, as well as supporting the Brand Manager on wider 360 partnerships
- Serve as the social voice champion within the business, working with the wider team to develop creative organic campaigns that add value to overall marketing plans
- Report on monthly/weekly social performance to track and share key KPIs
- Deliver engaging social content that drives ES social media equity and positive share of voice, leveraging consumer engagement and opportunities online
- Oversee community management, ensuring a best in class experience for anyone who engages with the brand on these channels
Influencer
- Lead on macro influencer activity, working closely with Head of Brand
- Oversee database of ES network; continually researching the newest talent from the world of content creators and influencers
- Build strong relationships with influencers, talent and content creators
- Oversee influencer gifting strategy, from ideation to execution and reporting
- Support in the planning and execution of brand events for press, influencers, stylists & VIPs
Content
- Collaborating and working with the in-house creative team, to brief content for all social platforms, implementing a social first approach.
- Produce and create best-in-class, high-quality, video and still content for social media channels under the guidance of the creative team. Write creative copy for all social media channels such as: captions stories etc.
- Work alongside brand & creative teams to support with photoshoots and events, capturing social first content as required
- Working with our brand founder, to create engaging BTS business content
Reports & Budgets
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports for all owned channels
- Help manage the brand marketing budget to deliver maximum efficiencies
Team
- Responsible for the line management of the Social & Influencer Executive
- Responsible for the on-going development of direct report, including annual reviews, personal development and any performance management
- With support of wider team, complete any recruitment and onboarding when required within team
Other
- Input relevant channel plans into the marketing calendar, ensuring all plans are executed
Expectations
- Strong experience working with influencers and building strong working relationships
- Experienced in managing paid influencer campaigns
- Experience building social first content to drive engagement, acquire new followers and generate brand heat focused on Instagram and TikTok.
- Proven track record of defining, implementing, and delivering social plans as well as delivering success at scale.
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, be resourceful and under pressure to meet deadline.
- Experience prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree and significant experience in Social and Digital Marketing.
- Proven track record driving brand awareness, consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Expertise with social listening and community management tools
- Paid social knowledge is beneficial, but not essential
- Excellent communication and English writing skills.
- Experience working in a Fashion, Lifestyle or Retail brand
