Summary
OK COOL is a (very) creative studio for social media, servicing the world’s top 0.01% of brands. We attract a certain type of brand client — those that rely on us to connect them to culture through content and use our expert knowledge to help them navigate the new ecosystem of social media platforms.
OK COOL works directly with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitch on social strategies for their key projects, alongside campaigns for cultural powerhouses like Nike, Mr Porter, Bumble, TAG Heuer, Spotify, and Disney.
We are looking for a Social Media Account Manager with exceptional knowledge of the social media landscape. As well as being an organised, adaptable and analytical individual, you will be a social media native with your finger on the pulse of the latest creative and cultural trends on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snap and Twitch.
Your job will be to help with social media management for one of OK COOL’s leading luxury fashion brand accounts. You’ll have excellent time management skills, love being in the detail and will have no problem with coming up with solutions and recommendations for how to continually improve performance. You’ll have an eye for aesthetics, and high-quality content and appreciate correct grammar, punctuation and formatting.
You’ll be required to think on your feet, work alongside wider internal teams to produce reactive and always-on social media content, repurpose exciting brand campaign content and propose forward-thinking creative ideas ensuring our content cuts through the noise of social media. The role would suit an adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use scheduling platforms to plan and post all social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube and ensure all content is aligned with client content plans
- Continually monitor and track social media performance and analytics for all posts and frequently find ways to improve on those metrics by testing new approaches and formats
- Own the weekly and monthly social media reports ensuring analytics are accurate and be the expert voice on the performance of content, translate data, share the latest TikTok trends and always be one step ahead when making recommendations
- Craft social media copy and captions and ensure that content is on brand and always of high quality
- Source brand imagery and video content via client DAM systems to repurpose and create engaging social media content, working alongside OK COOL creative team
- Make basic image and video edits to visual brand assets and ensure they are resized and suitable for each social media platform; brief and work alongside OK COOL designers for complex design requests
- Come up with suggestions for engaging daily social media content (outside of campaign-specific content) and own the ongoing always-on content calendar; brief and work alongside OK COOL creative team for complex requests
- Community management for social media accounts
- Attend regular client meetings alongside the client services team
- Be a go-to point person for the client when it comes to BAU (business as usual) daily requests from the client
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 years in a social media client-facing role including community management
- French speaking (fluent or native)
- A keen interest in luxury fashion, F1 and motorsport
- Experience managing a number of global or regional social media accounts for consumer brands (ideally luxury) across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
- A deep understanding of what makes content exciting and shareable across all social channels and a keen interest in emerging social media platforms
- Highly organised with experience working alongside client services teams, creatives and production teams
- Basic Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Photoshop for editing images
- Quick learner who enjoys the technical aspects and details of brand products
- Experience using social media scheduling platforms and social listening tools
- Understanding of social media analytics, the latest TikTok trends, detailed reporting and measurement benchmarks
- Strong attention to detail, and grammar and the ability to deliver high-quality work with quick turnaround times
- An understanding of how paid social is used to drive results
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends to post content around exciting live events
- Team player who is willing to get stuck in and happy to support your team
