Summary

Storia is a guided journaling app designed to help people organise their thoughts, understand themselves better and take control of their future.

We are on a mission to disrupt and redefine the journaling category.

About the job: We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Executive who is a self-starter, executes ideas quickly and wants to make an impact. You'll work closely with our Founder, Elizabeth Uviebinene, to support our day-to-day content and community efforts.

The right candidate will also be a fast learner who is a social media native, creative and always eager to try out new ideas. It will be your role to define and implement the content calendar and strategy to grow our brand.

Previous community-building experience is a plus, but ultimately, we're looking for someone who understands the dedication and love it takes to build a welcoming community.

We need someone who: ● Is creative at heart – can come up with engaging content ideas ● Has a strong understanding of what quality and engaging content looks like on TikTok and Instagram ● Highly organised and ambitious ● Have a knack for understanding trends and culture ● Can write clear and engaging copy for captions, keeping within the brand TOV ● Has excellent attention to detail ● Is proactive, resourceful and curious ● A team player and wants to work in a startup environment

What you'll do: ● Create social content for TikTok & Instagram (both video and graphics) ● Interact meaningfully with our community on social media to build and manage our online community with our target audience. ● Share inspiring content and foster a sense of belonging among the Storia members. ● Write and send our weekly newsletter. ● Analyse social media data to refine our social strategy, reporting back to the Founder on ways to harness this data to improve results and grow our following ● Generate and post social media content and copy for Storia's channels, focusing on TikTok & Instagram and working closely with our Founder to approve content. ● Can do basic design (e.g. creating posts using Canva / Photoshop / Figma) and basic video editing (e.g. Capcut)

● Develop a deep understanding of our target audience: who they are, what makes them tick, and how to speak with them. You'll help shape the product and marketing strategy based on those insights. ● Own, create and manage the social media calendar – ensuring it’s reactive, timely and engaging.

Benefits ● Daily salary between £150-£250 / day based on seniority equates to roughly 2 -3 days a week. ● Freelance contract with the flexibility to allocate your time over the week. ● Potential for stock options after a few months of working together.
